Care
Beige Swimwear pieces are constructed with the finest imported fabrics and delicate trims and meant to be a lasting part of your wardrobe. Being mindful of the following will make them last longer and reduce your environmental footprint.
We recommend rinsing or washing your garments right after you use them. A cool, hand wash with natural detergent helps you care for your swimwear, and it’s best to avoid harsh chemicals like chlorine, bleach, Ecozone or The Laundress. Handwashing will benefit your garment, whereas dry cleaning will not. To preserve your garment’s shape and fit, when cleaning, be careful not to wring, soak, or iron.
These pieces respond best to gentle treatment, so avoid leaving them rolled up wet or laying them out to dry in the shade. While it may be tempting to speed up the drying process, avoid putting these delicates in to tumble dry.
Sometimes fluffing and pilling happens, but don’t worry. Simply cut them with scissors and avoid pulling on the pills. Steer clear of rough surfaces so you don’t have to worry about pulling.
Store dry garments in a well-ventilated place and keep them safe from high temperatures or humidity. Leaving them in plastic bags is not recommended.
If you follow the above guidelines, you and your Beige Swimwear will be together for the long-term.
Our garments are designed to be worn in pool or ocean water unless otherwise noted on the products page. At the same time, some of these fashion-forward pieces are not suited for salted or chlorinated water, long periods of strenuous physical activity or in water found at the spa.
There is growing global awareness around how synthetic chemicals can harm our health. Similarly, harsh chemicals such as chlorine, those found in suntan lotions, or in spa water may cause damage to your garments. If they encounter these chemicals, the vibrant colors may fade or bleed. If you use self-tanners, make sure that they are completely dry before they come into contact with your swimwear. Sunscreens and tanning oils should also be used with care.
Beige Swimwear uses the best dyes available globally, however, we cannot guarantee color fastness in all cases. It is also best not to wear light-colored clothing over wet swimwear since some shades may transfer when wet.
We care about you and your experience with these beautiful garments, so we hope that these tips help.
